See the Video at the bottom of this page.

What does it do?

Simply: Laser Vaginal Tightening. No pain, no bleeding, no down time, no hassle. Just results. Good results.

The procedure has been  used introduced in Europe and South America and was a huge success. More  than 94-97% of women who tried it said they have moderate or great  improvement. They said that they felt more intense intimacy, and so did  their partner.

IntimaLase?

This is a medical laser,  certified for use by Health Canada. The procedure takes between 20-30  minutes with minimal discomfort if any. It is safe and effective. There  is no cutting, no scarring and no pain. There is no blood loss. There is  no time off work.

Actually, you can book the procedure over your lunch hour, and then go back to work, continue your work day, meetings, etc.

So how does it work?

The patented laser  technique heats the vaginal tissue in a special way that causes  stimulation of collagen. This is the fibrous tissue that supports our  organs. This stimulation will lead to more collagen formation, as well  as rearrangement and leads to a tighter, younger feel to the vagina.

Our unit is the first in the GTA, proudly in Durham Region.  Whitby to be exact. Since then, it has spread over many locations.

Is it painful?

No it is not painful. If anything you may feel some warmth.

Do I need to be put to sleep?

No need for anesthesia. This is a walk in-walk out procedure.

Do I need to bring someone with me on the day of the procedure?

No. Of course you may  choose to bring a friend with you at the time of the procedure. But you  can surely come alone. You will be able to drive on your own. There are no restrictions on what you can do after the procedure in terms of  everyday activities. The only restriction is not having intercourse for a  week after the procedure.

Will I feel a difference?

Yes. Most women who had  the procedure done said that they felt more intense sensations and  deeper orgasms. We usually recommend you abstain from intercourse for  one week. And on starting activity again, you will notice the  difference. Improvements continue for up to 4 weeks after the procedure.  Collagen continues to remodel for up to 8-9 months, and subtle improvement will continue to set in.

Will my partner feel the difference?

Yes. Most women who had  the procedure done said that they felt more intense sensations and so  did their partners. This is what you expect if the vaginal wall has  become tighter.

Is it safe?

The procedure is safe. The Erbium:Yag laser used is one of the safest medical lasers out there. The technology has been certified by Health Canada.

Are there any side effects?

Hardly any. Actually, a  very good side effect is better bladder control. Many women have noticed  that they actually have better bladder control now that they have done  the procedure.

The term Incontilase is used to describe the same procedure when tailored to enhance better bladder control.

Are there any restrictions after the procedure?

There are no restrictions on what you can do after the procedure in terms of everyday activities.  The only restriction is not having intercourse for a week after the  procedure. You will be given more instruction for post treatment care.
We do not encourage heavy exercise for a week after the procedure.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend two sessions. Results are obtained  after one treatment. More improvement occurs after the second treatment, 6-8 weeks apart.

How much does it cost?

It actually costs about half the cost of surgery, and as we said before, with none of its side effects.

Can I pay by instalments?

We do have a financing option that you can discuss with our staff when you are in. We use a third party financing firm.\

Will my insurance cover the cost?

We will issue you a  receipt; it is for you to negotiate with your insurance company if they  will cover it. Some companies have a ‘health expenditure’ account that  you can use on health related issues. Please make sure you contact your  insurance company and ask in details if they cover it or not. We  actually recommend that if will rely on the insurance to help out, that  you contact them BEFORE you have the procedure done so that you do not  have any unplanned surprises.

Traditionally women  who needed to have a vaginal tightening procedure done had one of two  possibilities. Either they have a problem that qualifies as a medical  condition, and then they can get a referral from their Family Physician  to see a Gynecologist. They are then referred to the local hospital, and  have a surgical repair procedure done. This procedure would be covered  by the provincial health plan. This is the same if they have a urine control problem, and leak  urine frequently.

The other option is for  women who have no real medical problem. They just want to have things  spiced up a bit. Or for some social reason, they want to have a tighter  vaginal canal. As such, they do not qualify for provincial insurance  coverage. They will  then need to either see a Gynecologist or a Plastic surgeon with  expertise in vaginal surgery, and then they need to cover the cost  themselves. Many names and options and variations are there, but the  procedures are all basically variations of the same surgical operation.  Doctors may use laser to cut tissue instead of the surgical knife. But  at the end, the procedure is more or less the same: You will need to  take time off work, and more so, need a good excuse to take the time  off. You will need to go to a hospital or to a private surgical centre.  There is the risk of pain, bleeding, surgical complications, infection,  etc. And there is the cost of surgery, cost of lost wages, as well as  the recovery from surgery.

The cost of surgery will vary from $ 4800-5200 upwards, depending on the extent of surgery done.
